OS X switching from full screen video playback to another desktop?

I have OS X 10.7 and during video playback, every 10 seconds- one minute while in full screen watching a video through a website (vimeo, youtube, etc.) the playback will continue but will change desktops. I have disabled "When switching to an application, switch to a space with open windows for the application" in system settings but it did not help. Does anyone know any solutions to this problem? It occurs even when no other applications or desktops are open.
