iPhone 5 iOS 7.0.3 keyboard bug

This happens every time I wake my phone and try to enter my security code (simple passcode OFF). When I select the 123 button to type a number 7 the screen switches to the numbers as it should, but when I select the number 7 the screen switches back to the ABC screen and enters a letter U, which resides in the same place as the 7 on the number screen.

It is very annoying. Sometimes it happens when texting also when selecting numbers. Anyone else experience this?
