Podcasts keeps dropping the sound when using phones. No problem when using the Music App so problem must be the Podcasts App?

Podcasts keeps dropping the sound when using phones. No problem when using the Music App so problem must be the Podcasts App?

Have to reconnect the 3.5mm plug to get sound playing again. Problem is happening more & more.

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.0.3
