You should be able to update Aperture using Software Update from the AppStore.
Sign into the AppStore with your Apple ID and open the "Updates" tab. Do you see Aperture?
The AppStore will not see Aperture, if it is not installed in the "Applications" folder. And it should be called somply "Aperture", without any additions.
Some members of these forums have reported, that it will help, if the primary System Language is set to "English" when trying to download Aperture. If your language is set differently, try to change it temporarily.
Thank you. By setting the language to English I solved.
You are welcome. I am glad you could download Aperture.
May I ask, what this time the language was, that Aperture did not accept? Previously we had problems with Finnish, Norwegian, and Swedish.
Italian
grazie mille!
I have the same problem. The primary language is english, Aperture is in the application folder, but does not appear in the updates of app store.
Any idea for solving it?
antonio, are you signed into the App Store?
And is your Aperture version an Aperture 3 version or Aperture 2?

In some cases it helped to install all other updates listed at the updates page first to prompt the aperture update to appear.
Thanks leonie
Yes I am signed in. My Aperture is 3.4.5, and I have installed all the other updates.
I always get the message "no updates available"
After making a reboot then appeared in the updates 🙂
Thanks

Great! 🙂
Yes, changing the primary language requires rebooting - otherwise not all applications will see the change; the "Language & Text" preferences should have shown a warning that this is necessary.

I did not change the language. My primary language is english.
