I've updated pages (twice in the last 24 hours).
But when I try and open a pages document, it tells me to... UPDATE PAGES.
When I open pages, it's the old version. But according to the updates section of my app store, i've already got the new version. Any ideas?

In the applications folder, it's still the older version of pages.
Since my computer THINKS it has the newest version of pages. should I just UNINSTALL pages and reinstall it? If so, how would I go about that?
I'd also like to know, as I'm experiencing the same problem.
Ok, figured it out. Go to the magnifying glass icon on top right corner, type in Pages, look for the new yellow icon, click on it, you should be able to open Pages 5.0. Both versions are still there. Had to do the same thing for Numbers to sync and start working also.
I would not recommend deleting the older version of Pages. On a five star system, this user (a professional writer/editor) would rate the "new, improved" Pages with one star--sorta.
wdhspencer, I see what you're talking about. However, I am not able to open some of my old documents using this procedure. What am I doing wrong?
Pages 5 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '08 or '09 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
Pages '08 or '09 will not open Pages 5 files at all, nor any iCloud files, and Pages 5 tends to make a hash of opening the older files.
Suggest you read the reviews and comments on Pages 5 before you take it on board.
