I Have an iPhone 5 and I just noticed that I can't hear any sound coming from it. Not when I get calls or type or swipe to open and close. I went on my sound settings and I put the volume up and I can hear the test volume and everything seems to be on , but when I type I can't hear the click sounds or hear my phone ring only vibrate. Can someone help me with this I am new to this. Thanks

Check the Mute switch above the volume buttons on the side of the phone, make sure it is flicked up and not showing orange

Omg lol thank you so much for helping! Now I know what that switch is for :) again thanks!! I was getting worried there for a sec.
My mute switch is NOT on. I have checked that with assistive touch as well as on the side of the case.
