Just wanted to see how other felt about the new calendar app, personally I hate it and it is much harder to see everything at a glance, especially in month view, compared to the iOS 6 version.

This is a technical support forum. If you have a specific technical question about the Calendar app, this is the place to ask it. It is not, however a place to poll others for their opinions.
There are lots of other calendar apps in the App Store. Take a look at Week Cal, Fantastical and Tempo.

We have the same problem with the new IOS7 calendar. I always used month view and now it's terrible.
We found out that Agenda Calendar restores the lost functionality and so my family and several friends are now using it with success.
I hate having to use a 3rd part app but Agenda shares the same data as the native Calendar and it seems you can use either app anytime. Fantastical 2 has a nice Month view also but seems to lack some other features. Just depends what you need the Calendar to do.

As previously noted, there are a wealth of other calendar options in the App Store should you not find the built in one to your liking.
