Q: When any button is pressed before the mac goes automatically in sleeping mode, causes an arrest

With "arrest" I mean that no operation can be done because pressing any button is useless. The solution every time is pressing the power button for some seconds so that the computer shuts down, and then press it again to swith it on again. Is this a bug of my computer? Is there any solution? Thanks in advance.

    reset SMC

    1. Shut down the computer.
    2. Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
    3. On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
    4. Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
    5. Press the power button to turn on the computer.
