Sorry, don't understand what mails have to do with an App.  and which App is it?

Please explain in more detail what you are attempting to do.

You can't lock an app other than the few apps in the Restrictions:

    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4213

unless it's a third-party app and it provides a password mechanism. You can, however, lock the iPad into a mode where only a single app chosen by you can run. See:

    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5509

If you want your kids to be able to use multiple apps, then you can't lock your Mail app and keep the out of it, and the only way to lock Messages is to turn it off in the Restrictions.

    Regards.

Unless the app has a built-in passcode (like many financial apps), there's no way to add a passcode to an app.  Also, there's no way to put a passcode on a folder.

If you have iOS 7 on your iPad and a cellular Internet connection, you can just tap the address in the event in Calendar and it will open Maps and show you the location.

    Google translation:

    Regards.
