Is there a download for Epson 630 scanner with the new maverick up grade?

Actually, it's no solution at all, as all Epson does is refer users to the Apple Software Update, i.e., Apple Store -- where I could find no driver for this printer. In that case, Epson tells us, it's already in the OS. Which of course, it is not, at least for some of us. So this is no solution.

The Printer driver for Epson Workforce 630 may very well be part of the drivers installed with OS X 10.9 Mavericks, but maybe not any of the scanning or other utilities.

There is a similar statement for the Scanner driver. Not exactly helpful. I can't find Epson drivers in my OS 10.9.2 directory.

When you get there, you will be instructed to use Terminal to explore for updated software. You may become suspicious when you see the copyright, 2012. And you will be right. There are no updates. Another waste of time by Epson.

I was addressing the scanning issue.

The scanning utility IS a direct download from the Epson website as well as FAX and event manager utility.
