The ram I installed is now stuck and can't get it out.

I bought ram for my iMac yesterday and I thought I installed it wrong because the sticks felt loose. I pressed really hard and turned on the computer. At first it wouldn't boot up. That's when I found out I couldn't pull the ram out. I left it that way and tried turning my computer on again and this time it did work. However its only detecting 16gb instead of 32gb.

How would I be able to pull them out without breaking the ram?
