safari opens off screen

I have imac and attached monitor. whenever I open Safari it opens on monitor not imac and so far right that only a portion of the bookmark window is visible. Have tried to move it and search settings but constantly opens almost off screen. Is there a setting I am missing that can fix this. Thank you
