Reinstalling/Downloading the app store OSX Lion 10.7.5

I've been looking for a solution to this issue since the start of the year, I made a post back in august and still have not gotten a reply, i've spent quite some time googling looking for solutions. I've tried downloading and installing the 10.7.5 combo update and deleating the cache.db file which is located here; (~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db)

There has to be a simple way, somthing i need to download. Upgrading to a higher version of OSX isn't really an option because I don't want to risk losing files and I fear that some of my programs may not work to their full potentinal when I upgrade.
