13in MBP Fall 2013 - Any lag on when bumping up resolution?

So I'm assuming the new MBP's fixed the lag the 2012 retinas had for "Best for display" when using the onboard GPU, otherwise what is the point for iris graphics?. But I will use one of the two higher resolutions, as the Best for Display is just too big for a 13in, I was going to bump it up to the Air equivalent resolution, or the max resolution. Has anyone tried this and could confirm if there is lag at the levels about the "Best for display" setting? I've only been able to ask one person at school, but one person isn't enough, so I'm turning to the community.
