Help! I can't delete a draft message

Well technically it isn't even a draft yet-- I wrote an email to announce something, and BCC'ed about 100 people. Unfortunately I didn't check the outgoing name and the server, and they don't match. So, after I hit Send, the message pops back up with the error window saying Cannot send message using the server xxx.xxx.

I was able to copy and paste the names and re-send the email correctly; but I can't get rid of the old one, because I can't SEE the options at the bottom of the window that would allow me to cancel it or edit it. Help! How can I get rid of this error window and/or the whole email?

Thanks in advance,

Jeanie

No, it isn't in Outbox or Drafts because I can't close it-- I've attached a screenshot to show what's happening.

No matter what I try, I can't get to the bottom of that window. If I just hit Return, I'm saying to Try Using Selected Server-- so it tries, and then pops up again with the same error window. I can't get to the other options at the bottom of the big grey box... AAAARrrrrgh...

Finally, finally, FINALLY -- it showed up in my Outbox. Cautiously, I clicked on the message and then clicked on the Delete icon. It disappeared from the Outbox.

It was still open, and preventing me from quitting Mail-- but I did a Force Quit, and this time when I reopened Mail, the offending message was gone!!!

Only took it about an hour to show up in the Outbox... so weird...

Thanks everyone for trying to help!!!

Jeanie
