Ipad Air yellow screen tint on left hand side?

From what people post on the web the problem with iPad mini retina is washed out colors as compared to iPad Air. Few threads over at macrumors.

You screen looks adorable to me !!!!!! Mine is too Yellow- white!!!!!

Both are DMPLJ (16gb with great screen, 64gb with bad screen)

Luck is putting €10 on a horse at 100/1 and winning, spending €600-€700 on an iPad that functions as advertised is what you expect for that kind of money

Just purchased one from Apple store today, and has significant tint issue on the left side (DMPL). Does anyone know if I can return the iPad and exchange it for apple store gift card? Thank you!

yes you can return and get money back from how u paid (cash or credit or debit card ) it within 14 days but you can put credit into gift card also if you want .

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. DONT CONNECT YOUR DEVICE TO A COMPUTER.

Hi, maybe you can look at the 5th digit of the serial number. M means produced at week 44, N means week 45. There seems to be no O products currently.

Yes that is the problem we all have. As you can also see on pics other users already posted. You should have it replaced.

So disappointed to see this isue coming back. It haunted the iMac in the past... I've had two iMacs with the yellow tint. Now I have an iPad air...

That's something that I noticed too. Did the previous iPads have glass screens because this ipad air feels like plastic. A bit cheapish. I assume this is where they saved on the overall weight.
