What can I do with an outdated iPad?

iPad 1 can't be updated to IOS 7 and now apps are beginning to stop working if I update apps. Is there anything I can do?

Hi Dynamicworm,

Sounds like we have the same stuff! I still have my iPad 1, and use it mostly for reading and photo editing. Once I got my Macbook Air, it became my go to option. It is just as portable (to me) as my iPad, and so much faster when it comes to the internet functionality (not to mention that having a real keyboard is perfect for me!).

But I still love my iPad, and the one other app that I still use on it pretty much exlusively is Star Walk....love to look at the nighttime sky with that app.

Cheers,

GB

Hahaha! I totally agree....I have a fond connection with it being the first one and all. And you are right - it is built like a tank! I love it!

Funny about the "Air" part! I hear Air, I think Macbook! Totally forgot about the iPad Air. Hoping you are loving it! Like I said, with my Macbook Air, it is so light and portable, that I tote it around everywhere with me. I just can type so much faster with a regular keyboard.... 😝

Cheers,
