HP d135

Hi,

I've been to both Apple and HP on this problem (which appears to be widespread on the web), but perhaps somebody has found a solution here;

The d135 is an All-in-one printer; the printing works, but scanning doesn't - when trying to scan, an error box pops up - "Unable to connect to HPAIO TWAIN data source"; this is using the most up to date software and drivers from the HP website. Is there any solution to this?

Thank you all for your help.

Regards,

Robin

I have an ongoing problem with my 5510. I had the same problem you had. I deleted all hp software from my computer, then downloaded just the print driver and just the scanning software and installed them. Printing worked, scanning did not. I then downloaded the full version of the driver and installed it over the two sub parts and everything worked. However, the real problem I have is that the HP software conflicts with some other program and so my machine crashes on startup and I have to reboot it several times, or reboot in safe mode and restart. I think the HP software also knocks out my internal mic. The software *****, but I;m not willing right now to take a chance on some other all-in-one device.
