Why can't I see 3D views on Google Earth on my mbp?

Using Google Earth 7.1.1 on my early 2011 MBP w/ Safari 7.0, I am unable to see street views. When I drag the orange guy to the street all I see is a flat smear.

Help!

MacBook Pro (15-inch Early 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.3)

Install another browser like the free Firefox and test.

Check your plugins are updated and current (especially Flash)

Finally, consider that Google Maps (beause it's in the browser, Google Earth is a seperate program) isn't updated to work with Safari 7 just quite yet.
