Arabesque screensaver is faulty after upgrade to OS X Mavericks
I know this is quite a minor problem and just a little nuisance, but has anyone else experienced the following?
1. My favorite screensaver is Arabesque.
2. Before the installation of OS X Macericks, it worked perfectly.
3. After the upgrade (which was not a clean install), every time it starts for the first time, a black square appears in the middle of the screen covering the screensaver image and after a while, it enlarges until the screen becomes black. That is not the way the screensaver should work.
4. If I exit and resume the screensaver, it works normally.
Should I trash the preferences file? Or should we add this bug to the list of bugs in this OS release?
I am afraid Apple really has messed up with one thing too many if it is a bug: screensavers have worked perfectly since 2001. Until now.
