i am told not to use the phone because this "may be" leakng acid and it "could" burn my face by apple BUT the engineers need to look at the picture and decide what to do since the phone has not exploded...

A pupil of mine brought her 1 month old iphone 5 to me on Friday asking if I would look at it, it had not taken charge over nite and was leaking a fluid. Low an behold the battery acid was running out of the speaker holes!!! It was acid because it felt like vinegar had been poured into a cut on my hand!
