any suggestions where I can find an HDD to upgrade my Mac Mini 3.1? I currently have 350 GB which is not enough.

Thanks

Just about any 2.5 inch SATA drive will work. I replaced the HD onmy 3.1 Mini earlier this year with one on sale from Newegg

Something you can do, pick up a USB enclosure or a

USB-to-SATA adapter. Then get either Carbon Copy Cloner

or Super Duper apps and clone the internal drive to

the new drive connected via above two methods.

Once the clones are complete, reboot to the USB drive

(will be slow since it is USB) to verify that the drive boots

and do a few simple test to satisfy yourself that all is well.

Once satisfied, do the drive swap. I suggest this approach

since swapping a drive in a Mini is not a simple task and

its good to know things are working properly before taking on the

task.
