error -043

Hi

Since a few days, I have increasingly started receiving the message:

'The operation can’t be completed because one or more required items can’t be found. (Error code -43)'

I first got it trying to move or delete a couple of files from my Google Drive, that I had given filenames using 'forbidden' symbols (/ and : in particular). I get the problem there: renaming. However, renaming didn't solve it, and now, I get the same error message for all my files--whether on Google Drive or my harddrive.

Help please!

System info:

Processor 2,4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo,

Thanks!

I've been receiving this error too on my new MacBook Pro late 2013 with Mavericks. I suspect we'll find out at the end of the day that it's Mavericks causing this. I don't have Google drive so I'm seeing it on my local drives.

I've also got a late 2008 MacBook Pro but haven't upgraded it to Mavericks yet. I've downloaded it but not installed it and it's still running Mountain Lion. I've never seen this error before but suspect that if I install Mavericks on the other MacBook Pro that I'll see the errors there too.

Time to file another bug report, I think.
