OS X Mavericks not working with brother HL-1110

Since updating to Mavericks my HL-1110 brother printer is not recognised by my mac. I've checked the brother website and it says the printer is compatible with mavericks, but I am unable to find any drivers.

Would you be able to supply me with the needed drivers?

Thanks

Ella.

You should be able to download the driver directly from Brother here:

Your HL-1110 is included in that list so it should be compatible.

If you do not find a driver specifically for Mavericks, the one for OS X 10.8 should work.

There was also a firmware update released very recently. Check their website for instructions.

On occasion it may be beneficial to reset your Mac's printing system, followed by adding the printer again in System Preferences > Print & Scan. For instructions readMac OS X: How to reset the printing system
