I started watching a rental, but wanted to finish it tonight before my 24hours is up. But the movie is gone.

I rented this movie last night at 10pm. But, got tired and turned it off at 11. I went back to start watching it tonight, at 9pm. But the movie had disappeared. It says my rental time yesterday was 8pm! How is that even possible?? I definitely didn't rent it until 10, after kid was in bed.
