I still use my G5 iMac, happily running Leopard 10.5.8 which is far as it can go.
Most modern software application will only run on an Intel Mac however.
Hi which is better the imac g5 or the imac 2006
and does snow leopard support all power apps
If by 'iMac 2006' you mean an Intel based Mac, then that is far more up to date.
You can use Power PPC apps with Snow Leopard by running them in Rosetta.
Hi I bided on a PowerBook g4
With leopard and it has 1.7 of ram
Will the PowerBook be good Enough
It really depends on what you are going to use your computer for.
You will find that the newer versions are much more adapt to running just about anything you want to run for whatver the reason. THe Newer computers are very very good to run all applications.

No, not for long. Very out of date and officially obsolete.
Vintage and obsolete Apple products:
Obsolete products are those that were discontinued more than seven years ago. Apple has discontinued all hardware service for obsolete products with no exceptions. Service providers cannot order parts for obsolete products. These include ALL G4 and G5 models.
