How To Transfer PDF from mac to iPhone

Hi

I have copies of Eos Magazine on my macbook air and since upgrading to Mavericks and IOs7.03 is see no way that I can get them on to my Iphone. I have seen sugestions about emailing them to myself and opening them from ibooks that way. The problem here is most of the pdfs are to big to email.

This was done under Itunes sync before and now there is no tab for Ibooks when syncing. Am I missing something?

Any help would be appreciated.

As I understand only way you transfer your pdf's is through iCloud, what happened to good old sync between iPhone and you Mac??????

Latest iTunes update now let's you sync iBooks as before. Normal service resumed and now a happy bunny.
