How do I disable password prompt at startup?

My "Disable automatic login" in General is NOT checked. But when I start my computer it requires my password.

Did you check that FileVault is disabled? If you are using FileVault, you will be asked for your user account password every startup. Open System Preferences > Security and Privacy > FileVault, and see if it's turned off

You should do that (i've done it and it has worked for me):


System preference -> User & Groups -> Select your user (Admin account in the left panel - mine is TruongTuanAnh) -> Click the lock icon at the left bottom to make change (type your password) -> Click login options above the lock icon -> in Auto login section, change "off" to your account name (mine is TruongTuanAnh) -> click lock icon again.


Restart

and enjoy it!
