In the App Store, there is an app that is open and I cannot get rid of it.

A game app opened in the App Store, I cannot make it go away. How can I get rid of it? There is no 'x'. It appears my only option is to download it, then delete it. Is there any other way?

iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 7.0.2

iOS Reset -

Try a reset. Press & hold the Power and Home buttons simultaneously, ignoring the red power off slider, until the Apple logo appears. Then release both buttons. This should not affect any content on the iPad, it is similar to rebooting your computer.
