How ae you burning the DVD now? Is it a video DVD, a slideshow or just a bunch of images?

HD 1080 video.
I asked how you are burning the DVD.
If you are trying to make a video DVD then you can;t do that in Finder you need DVD authoring software. If you are just putting the vidoe file on the DVD what is the format of the file.
Sorry for this disjointed question. I downloaded the HD 1080 video from my Nikon D7100 to Aperture then draged it to a DVD. I was able to view it on my Mac however, they could not veiw it on the Windows based computer. I have no problems with photographs; this is the first video I've shoot and tried to transfer. Is there software I need to make this viewable on Windows?
What is the format of the video file. It needs to be in a format that the windows PC can read.
So you imported the DVD into Aperture and can view it there, correct? Then you just dragged it out of Aperture, you did not export it, to the DVD drive. Then you burned the drive.
If you take the DVD and try to look a the video on the Mac, again off the DVD not out of Aperture or anywhere else on the Mac, does it work?
If the Mac can't play the video off the DVD then you might have had a problem burning it.
If the Mac can play the video off the DVD then the PC cannot read the format of the video file. You will need to find a format it can read and convert it to that before burning the DVD.
Correct; I dragged the video from Aperture to the DVD. I was able to view the DVD on my Mac after it was burned from the DVD. Do you know what format I shoud change it to so that I can re-burn the DVDs for my friends?
You're still not telling me the format of the video file 😕
I just don't know. 😟
I have only shoot photographs in the past and did this as a favor. It is in whatever format that transfers from Nikon to Aperture.
could it be .MOV
