Can't print from boot camp.

So, with my old overheating style time capsule, I had my printer connected to the TC via ethernet and all was right with the world (except for the repeated crashing of the TC from overheating I presume). I got the new TC, and none of my computers could print anymore except my main machine that is wired to the TC (rest are wireless). Called Apple, they said ethernet won't work (and it didn't - an unplesant downgrade). I connected the printer to the TC via USB, and now, all my Mac's can print, but on bootcamp on my main machine doesn't see the printer at all (worked fine with the old TC over ethernet)..

How do I get Win7 64 to see my USB printer that is connected to the TC? (TC is connected to my mac via ethernet)

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5), 3xiMacs,Mini,2xPad,4xPh,2xiPods,aTV

Load bonjour for windows.. better load the whole airport utility for windows. Bonjour is needed to find apple shared devices and without it windows can have a hard time.

A printer connected by ethernet though should work no matter what.. it is an IP device and the TC has no control over it. I would say it will work by ethernet but you need to redo the printer setup and delete the old print setup in each computer and redo it. Windows has no problems with ethernet printers.. and in fact you should be able to have the printer plugged in both by USB and ethernet. The print controller will simply detect which port the job comes in on, and swap over.

Thanks for the advice, but no dice. Installed itunes on windows, printer drivers etc.. won't work at all with the TC, but does work if directly connected. Worse, when I fire up the family imac, it takes minutes to find wireless, in which time it doesn't connnect to the files on the TC giving errors. I guess Apple has "fooled me twice" on the TC each generation has been a PITA, for different reasons each time 😟
