Anyone else have Pages 5.0 constantly crashing on opening since the update? Tried deleting and reinstalling. Originally, I had two versions on my Mac Mini '11 (running Mavericks) Pages '08 (CD) and Pages '09 (AppStore) which were updated to Pages 5.0. I had to go into TimeMachine and reinstall the Pages '09 because Pages 5.0 is unusable.

It could be a problem with fonts. open the Font book and validate the fonts. you might have a third party font that doean't agree with Pages 5.0
Sometimes it helps to resart the computer with Shift key pressed. Press it until you se a bar emergin. It might take a while.
Log in and the restart again the normal way. test if Pages works now.
Tried what you suggested. Pressing the 'Shift' key while rebooting did work, but once I rebooted again (which I had to because the computer had loaded up safe mode) Pages stopped working again. Continues to crash upon openning. Like I said Pages was working fine proir to this update. 😐
It can also be another application interfereing. Do you any third party applications? Any extra devices?
