How do I check my remaining memory?
I just downloaded OS X Mavericks and I want to check my memory. I used to use activity moniter but I don't know how to use it with the update.

It says I used 4GB and I know I used over 200GB.
There is a difference between RAM and disk space.
4 GB sounds like RAM.
Whereas 200 GB sound more like disk space and not RAM.
Yopu really should learn the difference between them.

To check your disk space, go to: Menu bar > (Apple symbol) > About This Mac > More Info > Storage.
To check your memory usage, go to: Spotlight > Search "Activity Monitor" > Click on Memory in the top.
As you say you have 200GB of "memory", you are probably talking about disk space.
"Memory" is the modules the computer uses to handle applications - the more memory installed, the more applications can be run at the same time and the smoother they run. Most computers have 4GB - 64GB installed.
Hope this helps.
