Q: Problems syncing photos from my Mac with iOs 7

I have a couple of smart albums that I sync from my mac to my iPhone and iPad. They sync fine at first, then after awhile they disappear. When I look at my iPad or iPhone through iTunes, it seems that it resets to the 'Sync all photos and events" (it never tries to sync all the events though.) is this a bug with iOs 7 or iTunes? is anyone else having this same problem?

iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.3

Thanks Griff....I tried that, but it didn't help. Another new thing that it does in iOs 7 is that the photos tab for my iPhone or iPad takes a looooooong time to load. It will have a spinning circle for a long time (around 20 minutes or so), then it will finally load. Have you seen anything like that before?
