No worries. It happens.
Just in case you need this: http://support.apple.com/manuals#iphone
There are a lot of different settings & features in an iPhone, and it takes a while to get used to them. Don't feel bad.
It will show when the individual receives it, just not in the message bubble that you see in the message.
Actually, tapping it clears the top bar and shows the full image. Stupid me. Thanks.
Are you zooming the pic before sending it? I just tested this again from my iPhone 4s to my son's iPhone 5s and it works just as I said. Is it possible the receiver is inadvertenly double tapping the picture as it is opened and causing it to zoom in? The user troubleshooting steps for the iPhone are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new.
Went to iphone 5s, took screenshot of home screen. Went to text messages. Chose from camera roll this screen shot. When looked at in camera roll, entire screen shows. Placed in in text messsage bubble, and, as expected dont see it all there. Texted it to me and again, when opened in the text screen, the top 10% is cut off and only shows if I pinch the screen.
Ah, that is what the problem was. Glad you got it straightened out. It can make it difficult when you are looking at a screen shot, since we are looking at one thing and can be expecting something a little different when we look at it. I hope that I was able to help you somewhat.
No, this does not happen. When the person receives the message, and clicks on the photo, you still have to pinch to see the full photo.
Tap or double tap the image. What happens when you do that?
