How do I shift-click using a windows keyboard on my iMac?

I'm sure I'm missing something, but when I try to select mutliple items (in a row) in finder or itunes and hold the shift key it doesn't work with my windows (logitech) keyboard.

If I hold shift on the Apple keyboard it highlights the entire range, as expected but the windows keyboard doesn't.

Do I have to do anything special to make the shift-click work on my keyboard? (It's an illuminated keyboard that I use at night so any help is really appreciated)

Sorry for the noobish question but I'm stuck.

Try holding the Windows key on your Logitech keyboard and then selecting the items.

Thanks for the quick reply.

It turns out that the Logitech keyboard stopped working and I had to reboot.

It was weird because it was still illuminated (usually if it wasn't working it wouldn't be lit up)

I'm still trying to get used to the keyboard shortcut differences from windows and I thought I must've been doing something wrong.

You are welcome!

Never use or used windows much myself, but I do use Logitech keyboards and Mice without any Logitech drivers.

Have a look at > OS X keyboard shortcuts

Then maybe try > Control Center for Macintosh OS X - Logitech, plus there FAQs and Forums to get where you want.

On a windows keyboard the Ctrl key is Control on mac, the Alt key is the Option key and the Windows Logo key is the Mac Command key. All other keys are the same if you are using US English including you get REAL Delete and Backspace keys. Along with page up/down and Home/End.
