Apple ID trouble

For the past month or so my current apple ID was giving me trouble ever since I typed in an iTunes code to purchase music.

It would ask me to sign in and when I did it said it was invalid. I forgot my security question answers and I've tried the rescue email but it won't show up on my iPad mini. Eventually I made an appointment with the nearest apple store to me, in the city of Valencia, CA.

When I went they couldn't help me very much, I was given a number to call that I already did the night before.

The people from Apple services couldn't help much either, seeing how my iPad wasn't showing me everything I needed.

I was told that it would be better if I was by an actual computer.

Long story short, I tried to FaceTime and couldn't log in, so I made a new apple ID that's linked to my FaceTime ONLY.

If I sign out the old apple ID and sign in with the NEW one, will I lose my current music and videos?

Please help.

Yes, You need to get on a computer an onto your iTunes account and fix the information.

At some point you may have changed your password in iTunes, but did not update the change on the iPad. This might cause the iPad to reject the sign in information.
