Disable automatic bluetooth connection on wakeup

I'm using a pair of bluetooth speakers along with my MacBook Pro (Late 2011), but only on certain occasions.

Since I upgraded from Lion to Mavericks, everytime I wake up my MacBook, it automatically connects to the speakers, even when I disconnected them manually before.

Is there any way to change that?

The following command disables bluetooth auto connect to audio devices. But it also disables auto reconnect the device after sleep if it was previously connected.

sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.Bluetooth.plist DontPageAudioDevices 1

Maybe there are some other settings related to this similar to the one above.

That's exactly what we don't want to do! Also, if you have a mac mini with bluetooth input peripherals you wont be able to do it anyway.

The UX is simply broken here. After explicitly disconnecting a bluetooth device, the OS shouldn't attempt to reconnect again, period.
