My relatively new macbook pro is making weird sounds (coming from disk drive?)

I've only had this Macbook Pro (15in non-retina running 10.8.5) for about four months and it's already messed up somehow. It has started to randomly make clicking sounds (coming from the disk drive I think) very often, making my macbook virtually unusable in my college library. I don't know much about computers but I could really use some help.

Thank you!

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

Does this happen mostly when you move or bump it?

The new macbooks have a HDD protection feature (I think). Our company got five new MB pro's and all of them make a click noise from the HDD when you move or bump them.

In any case, it is better to consult an Apple Genius.
