I DO NOT know my Local Items Keychain password.

My "Local Items" KeyChain got set up when I downloaded Mavericks. I can't do anything now on my MacBook Pro. HELP. Apple, this feature STINKS. PLEASE fix it. I do not have a KeyChain called, Login. I only have, "Local Items, System, and System roots. I can't do ANYTHING on my MacBook now. As soon as i boot it up, it repeatly asks for the Local Items password. Once again, I DO NOT have a Keychain called Login. I have tried every password I can think of, Apple set it up and it really made me frustrated. VERY disapointed in Apple...

Do you have a backup from before you updated to Mavericks? It would be in your ~/Library/Keychains folder.

Hi - I can't even login in at all - any ideas??

I got the errors late last night and decided to shut down and look again this morning but now its coming up with OSX wants the local keychain popup at the login screen and is stuck! 😟

I don't know if it will work, but try to boot into Safe Mode and run the fix: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1564
