Edit m4v drm protected files in iMovie?

Hello,

I have to edit a tv show for one of my classes, but the filed is a drm protected m4v file I bought off of iTunes. I'm getting really frustrated trying to find a way to upload the file into iMovie. Does anyone have any advice?
