Q: Are iLife and iWork Free?

I thought iLife and iWork were supposed to be free on the App Store for all iOS 7-compatible devices. I have an iPad 4, and it has been upgraded to iOS 7, but none of the iWork or iLife apps are free? Am i doing something wrong? (Garageband was free, but that was the only one).

Free Apple Apps (activated or purchased after September 2013)

Go here to verify your device registration (you'll need to login using your Apple ID credentials):

https://supportprofile.apple.com/

You can view your registered device(s) here and if there are any you've missed registering, you can do so that as well. You can also register new devices here.

Afterwards, visit the App Store and your free apps should be available to you.
