Q: Everytime I download a file, I always get "cannot write file", how do i fix this?

You may be having a permissions issue with that folder; check them to make sure you have write privileges for your downloads folder

Dec 20, 2013 11:03 AMby Tohno,I had the same issue. I'm not sure why this whole "cannot write file" issue comes about, but I know how to get the complete file even when this appears. As for accessing the files, go to your downloads folder and right-click the file that couldn't be written. Select "show package contents" and the fully downloaded file should appear! I was so happy that I didn't have to re-download them!
