restore deleted text messages

I can't figure out how to restore the text messages that I have accidentally deleted. Is there any way to get the text messages from my iCloud restored to my mac or iPhone 4. I just got a new iPhone 5s and I want to figure out how to get it restored to my Mac so I can choose what I want on my new iPhone. Really I just need anyway to recover the pics, emails, and most importantly text messages. I already have the emails. Thanks.

iPhone 4, iOS 7.0.3

iCloud backups include SMS/MMS text messages. To get them back, you must restore them from the icloud backup (this assumes you've been backing up to icloud).

Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. This will erase your device. Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your device was new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.

If the messages exist in the backup, then they can definitely be recovered. Now there are 3 things you can do retrieve deleted text messages from iPhone:-

1 - Go to Apple Genius bar and see if they can help

2 - Restore from the backup:- This will get you all the messages you want, but will wipe out everything that came into your phone since the backup date

3 - Get a backup recovery software:- I have used iPhone SMS recovery software and would definitely recommend it. There are other options though, like the one Pvonk has suggested, but they are just too expensive. It does the exact same thing for much less.

Hi i have tried wondershare, decipher text message, phone rescue, and didn't get any deleted text messages back. They showed me the ones i already have on my phone.

I have backed up my iphone through itunes.

I have the -- 3d0d7e5fb2ce288813306e4d4636395e047a3d28 file on my desktop.

I also have Oxygen Forensic SQLite Viewer.

I am such a noob with this technology stuff. I don't know anything about computer programming. Or how to operate SQLite.

With the information and software I have, is it possible to recover deleted text messages? Is there any way?

SMS/MMS are not synced with an application on your computer or included with the iTunes sync process in any way except for being included with your iPhone's backup which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process. The data included with the iPhone's backup is not stored in your iTunes library. This link provides the data on your iPhone that is included with your iPhone's backup.

There are a number of 3rd party utilities that provide for extracting select data from your iPhone's backup on your computer for access to the data on your computer for archiving or printing, etc.
