Same for me on 720p and 1080p as well. But not on all video's e.g. My playlist still plays without saying "connecting to Vevo". Looking forward to the fix. Vevo service is apreciated.

Can somebody please explain what this "********" VEVO thing is?
I used to play my favorite music videos while I worked and studied.......
Since the update on my APPLE TV a few days ago, surprise, surprise I have VEVO there.......
Now all my favourite music videos either cannot be accessed, the system hangs in a permanent spinning circle, or if I am just lucky enough to get a music video, it only lasts for half the song and then goes into a never ending "accessing"........
Now three hours later, and I still haven't started any study, I am trying to get answers as to why a perfectly good and working stable system before has been replaced with this crap VEVO......
What the **** is ******* VEVO?
Can i delete it?

Well, I was happy before this VEVO s**t arrived to buy my songs.........
Not now....... back to the good ol' piracy days now......
The masses will rise up to defeat this extreme censorship and a system that just doesn't work at all.......
I have wasted over three hours of MY VALUABLE TIME trying to watch my legitimate purchases......
All I have now on the screen is a f*****g spinning circle and the message we all know "accessing VEVO"....
I get the same problem, bought it brand new, vevo is the only app that doesnt work
Same problem here. Bought ours yesterday. We already had an Apple TV and vevo plays fine on that one. Same software version on both. All other apps work fine.
I'm having similar but different problems. I'd never seen or heard of Vevo before the weekend. Now I really wish I hadn't clicked on it as is seems to have killed my Apple TV. I got past the never ending spinning circle problem (not sure how) but then when I selected and played a video - that's when the real problems started. I'm not sure how I got here but I've now got a blank (blue/grey) screen and my Apple TV aint responding to anything I do.
Apple have obviously let Vevo onto their platform without adequate testing. Steve will be turning in his grave!
If anyone does know how I can get my Apple TV back in operation please help? I promise I won't go anywhere near the Vevo icon 😕
Have you tried to restart your Apple TV? That's all you need to do more than likely.
just restart your Apple TV, VEVO should work
Mylo, restart the Apple TV and VEVo should work fine
Ace, if you restart your Apple TV it should work fine again
Thanks Mike. Tried that but when I restart I just get back to the blank screen.
Have now reset and that's sorted it so at least I have Apple TV now. I'm not going near Vevo again tho! ℹ
