download music from my macbook to iphone 5

Help - frustrated!

I downloaded a music album to my macbook at work. Now that i know better, i should have downloaded either to my HOME/personal computer or my iphone. Anyway, there is an album i want to get from this work macbook to my iphone. How can i copy or share it to iphone?

I've read many help threads and none work.

I am unable to select the album and drag it to my iphone it won't copy.

I have icloud and home sharing on.

But HOW do i access iCloud? there are no instructions so i must be very stupid.

At very least, i am VERY frustrated.

How hard can this be? I BOUGHT the music and can't get it on to my iphone!

If you got the music from the iTunes Store, click here and follow the instructions, either on your home computer or the iPhone.

Alternatively, copy the song files to an external drive and from there to the iTunes library on your home computer. This works regardless of where the music came from.

Yes, music was purchased from iTunes last year.

I followed directions. Still unable to move album music from macbook pro to iphone. There is NO Download button. OR i can't find it.

Do i have to buy the music all over again?

Grrr....hours spent on this and annoyed.

I use iTools to download music from MacBook to iPhone 5 because it's free and effective. I just transferred an album of music to the iPhone with it. The problem is, the mp3 tag information did not transfer along with. So the artist names do not show, and the songs don't get properly categorized. If this exists, there must be something better out there that will transfer both the songs and their id3 tags from Mac to iPhone.

This post is two years old.

Why do you not simply use iTunes to sync music to your iPhone? It is free and effective and all tags are synced.
