Q: Will I still find iWork '09 in the AppStore?
Hi,
I have not yet upgraded to Mavericks and I don't know if I will do this in a while. Since I have been experiencing a bit of problems with Mountain Lion I may have to perform a clean install of it. I never purchased iWork physically just through the AppStore and was wondering if, once I have Mountain Lion back on my Mac, the App Store will allow me to install iWork '09 from my downloads? If this isn't the case, is copying the apps enough to keep them running on a clean system?
Thanks in advance!

If you reinstall OS X Mountain Lion by erasing the hard drive, you won't be able to reinstall your iWork apps from the Mac App Store, as they require OS X Mavericks.
To prevent this, make a backup of your files with Time Machine or just copy the iWork applications manually to an external drive, and after reinstalling, copy them back to the Applications folder. I recommend you to make a backup in case the copy and paste doesn't work
