Desktop order changing

I have a number of desktops defined in Mavericks. Unlike ML, the desktop order seems to change whenever returning from sleep. I suspect this is a Mavericks bug but wonder if anyone else has seen this and/or anyone has a fix.

I have similar problem (described in: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5523444) but I observed the desktops changes in normal work (without sleep)

Thanks. I missed the Mission Control settings in preferences. We'll see how that goes once the box is unchecked.
