Video app does not show name, previews all faulty

I have switched from iPad 1 iOS 5.1.? to iPad 3, iOS 7.0.3

The Apple "Videos" used to show the title of the video beneath the thumbnail. Is there any way to get that back, because I had named the videos according to subject, like sequences from dance workshops. Now, I may be lucky to see some previews, but naturally x previews of an instructor on the ballroom floor don´t tll me which dance is in that video.

Second issue, most of my videos now have completely messed up thumbnails as previews, making identification a guesswork.

All videos were converted on iTunes back on the iPad 1, so I would have expected them to work on the new device as well.
