Thanks baltwo I up graded to 10.9 and now I can't get my painter program to work, all I get is error 20 .Any idea of how to fix it?

Restore the bootable backup/clone or Time Machine backup of your previous installation. If you don't have one, then follow these steps to revert: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-6161. Alternatively, upgrade your unnamed painter program.
